Welcome to the NEMO wind blog/website. Thank you for taking the time to visit our site. We want to start by explaining who we are.
We are a grassroots group of rural Missourians who have been thrust, unwillingly, into the wind energy debate. This group started as the "Concerned Citizens of Schuyler County, Missouri" and has grown as we have realized the true reach of wind energy in Missouri. As Schuyler and Adair Counties are currently under siege and under construction, we have realized that the future of wind energy in Northeast Missouri is concerning and worthy of a deeper, detailed look. We will discuss this further in future posts.
It is our hope to share an alternative perspective of wind energy and what wind energy means for Missouri, especially rural Missourians. We consider the topic of wind energy a "rabbit hole" and if you stick with us, you will learn the truth regarding wind energy and other renewable sources. Welcome!
